Making the most of things

No hesitation about running tonight. My father was admitted to hospital again and he’s in a bad state mentally with the dementia, worse than he’s ever been. He’s also bad physically - turns out he has a broken rib. The people in hospital will earn their money looking after him tonight. So I was determined to go when I could. A win

40 minute run on the agenda yesterday, preferably with hills. After my run down to my parents the other day I thought I would incorporate a visit to them with my training session. Aware 10k Saturday 8 December 2018

I was awake at 6.30 am in the morning, in advance of the alarm clock, knowing I had to get up and run. Top five reflections on a half-marathon

I haven't run a step since the half-marathon, between stiffness, travelling and general recovery.
