Slow and torturous

I took the day off work on Friday as I was totally wrecked after the intense two weeks of quarter-end. Of course I woke up early, so I noodled around for a bit before going out for a run. It was overcast and a bit wet so I was hoping it would be quiet out, and it was ok. Post quarter-end

I didn’t run at all last week as it was our quarter-end and year-end at work, so we were extra busy. I had to work all over the weekend, and late, but in many ways it was much better being at home for it. No travelling, could get dinner, and no big bosses flapping around having panic attacks and making themselves seem important. So thankfully it’s done now for another quarter and I’m trying to get back to a normal work routine. I finally sent out my thank-you/memorial cards for my Dad, so I incorporated…
