11 miles and lots of memories

Well my exam is done and it went ok. I attempted everything, though I was pressed for time so some answers were pretty short, but the main thing is it’s done. I was absolutely wrecked after it. I had intended to go down to the running shop and buy new runners and other bits I need but in the end I was so tired I went to bed. Recovery run in the sun

Recovery run to start the week. While I had no stiffness after my long run on Saturday, my legs did feel quite heavy and slow this evening, so I took it easy. It was a lovely evening, 22 degrees and hazy, with a cool breeze so it was very nice to be out. I came home then and did some strength exercises and some stretches. My exam is on Friday, so trying to focus. I will be so glad when it’s done.

That time of the month

I had another post almost written about yesterday’s 10 miler but I changed my mind about it; it wasn’t honest. The first post essentially ignored the most unusual thing about yesterday’s run: I had my period. Now that feels weird for me to write and maybe some will consider it TMI.
