Just do it

Last month I ran the Dublin Marathon. It was my first marathon and while it didn’t go quite according to plan time-wise, I ran the whole way (well almost, too far to walk) and loved every minute of it. Bar the freak-out at 13.1 miles, but that’s another story.

Anyway it has made me love running more than ever so I have already entered for next year! I am determined to keep active over the winter. I have a half-marathon in London in March (before Brexit) so that is going to keep me honest and get me out the door over the winter. Has to be something.

Ah janey mackers… that’s far too short a race report! We demand more details, oh cranky one!

What?? I thought I was talking to myself.

You mean in general? Or just in your blog? I know the feeling. On both counts. But just on Dublin, it really deserves a decent report. It’s such a great race. I’ve only done it about a half dozen times, so in comparison to some, I’m a blow-in. And I always enjoy a good race report! It makes it all so interesting to read about other experiences. You can’t just say ‘that’s another story’ and leave it out there! 🙂

        • Thanks Declan! I read your report – well done on that time! I have this blooming blog and I never do anything with it and I’m not sure why. But I will put down my thoughts on Dublin, thanks for the encouragement.

Cool. Look forward to that so!
