Win win

I am determined to keep my fitness up till marathon training starts (everything going to plan that is), and want to make my Saturday runs 6 miles. I wanted to do 4 miles yesterday, to work my way back up to 6, and would have if the gale force winds hadn’t come back. I drove down to my parents’ house, left the car and headed down to the canal. A tough run

Yesterday was a tough run for a few reasons. Firstly it came after 12 days of work in a row with late nights pretty much every night. So that meant no mid-week running, and no running for a week. I also did not realise I was going to be running in a gale.
